Crosses Penn Play Area, Burnham

Crosses Penn Play area has been having a make-over and whilst it may look finished, there is still some work to be done.  There needs to be two new pedestrian gates installed, the very important safety inspection to take place and some remedial works to the ground which is very swampy, wet and muddy.  This is why there is a closure notice on the play area.

Whilst it is very enticing to look at all the lovely shiny new equipment, we would ask families not to be tempted to use it.   The ground really does need to firm up and settle down, which will then give the site the best chance of being opened in the New Year.  Unfortunately, Covid delayed the original start date and this meant works had to be done during the wetter months.
